I’ve always had sensitive gums. It has only gotten worse with age, but I decided I should probably do something about it now rather than later. I researched various toothbrush options and landed on Quip. It was affordable and stylish, offering refills to be automatically sent out to me as needed. I decided to give it a go!
I chose the slate metal version – which is a sleek, modern black metal finish. There are several color options available, both in plastic or metal. There is also a kids version, too! I chose to mount my toothbrush on my mirror on the farthest side away from the toilet, cause you know, that’s yucky. Along with normal bristles, there are rubber bristles along the outside and a tongue scraper on the back of the toothbrush head.
The vibrations are gentle and not at all abrasive, which was very important for me. It has a built-in 2-minute timer that pulses every 30 seconds to remind you when to switch sides. It only has 1 mode and one single button (the q) – so easy to use! Honestly, for whatever reason, I’m more excited and more likely to brush my teeth since getting this. I’m not sure if it’s the timer or what exactly about it motivates me, but it really does.
I highly recommend the Quip toothbrush. And, yes, I did purchase this all with my own money. I was not sent this product and all opinions are my own.
