Prime Day 2023 begins July 11 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific time and ends July 12 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. The sale involves big discounts on pretty much every category Amazon features, including tech, gadgets, home, kitchen, garden, fashion, jewelry, beauty, gaming, and more. Prices for Amazon devices like Kindles, Fire TVs, and Echo devices are typically the lowest on Prime Day, so if you’ve been eyeing one – now is the time!
Prime Day deals are usually broken up into three types:
- Deals of the Day: These deals last 24 hours only. They often feature Amazon’s best-selling products. This means you’ll want to act fast, because these items may not be available on the second day.
- Lightning Deals: These flash deals are run on specific items and are offered for a short period of time. They typically last for a few hours, or until the item sells out. New Lightning Deals can pop up as frequently as every 5-10 minutes.
- Invite-only Deals: These deals are available to selected individuals who request an invitation beforehand. These are expected to include some of the best deals that Amazon anticipates will sell out quickly. Selected members will be notified during Prime Day of options they have to request an invite to.
Some deals span both days, but it’s worth checking back on the second day to see if any new deals have been added. Amazon’s return policy for items bought during Prime Day is the same as it is any day of the year. The majority of items, including Amazon devices, can be returned in 30 days. Happy shopping! I hope you find some of my picks worth purchasing and that some of your own items saved on your shopping lists are on sale, too.
