We’ve all heard it: you spend 1/3 of your life sleeping. This is why I think it’s so important that your bedroom is relaxing and cozy. We spend a lot of time there and it’s crucial time at that! I have gone from a hodgepodge of decor to ultra-glam, and now back to a more traditional-boho vibe. This definitely feels much more “me” and it’s easier to incorporate a lot of different elements that I like.

I started with a plain, black bed frame from Wayfair. Then I was in the mood for a black and white comforter. I looked high and low for the perfect one and this one from Target won my heart. I already had my two dressers for a while now and they’re still getting the job done. I thought about maybe swapping out the hardware, but I like the black knobs, so no update there!
I ended up painting my small ikea dresser matte black and stuck that in front of the window. The nightstand is from Target and was a little tricky to put together, but I managed. And no, I do not have enough hats. Quit asking – ha!
I still have some furniture that didn’t make it in the initial move to Austin, including my mirrored armoire. The door fell off and broke so my dad had to fix it. That’ll go in the empty corner under the dream catcher. I might try to find some additional wall decor, but otherwise, I’m loving how it turned out!
Any suggestions for additions or changes I could make to improve the space? I’m always open to suggestions!
