This is probably the tubing mascara most people think of first, and for many people it lives up to the hype.
It creates extremely long, defined lashes and holds a curl really well. The wear time is excellent, especially for people who deal with mascara transfer or watery eyes.
If your priority is length, this one is hard to beat.
Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara – $34
If you prefer a more refined, separated, almost editorial-looking lash, this formula is gorgeous.
It doesn’t create the thickest or most dramatic lashes on this list, but it gives clean definition and length with a very luxe-looking finish. Think soft, fanned-out lashes instead of super bold volume.
Are Tubing Mascaras Worth It?
For me, absolutely.
Once you get used to not constantly checking for smudges or carrying makeup remover around, it’s hard to go back. They’re especially worth trying if:

- Your mascara always transfers
- You have watery or sensitive eyes
- You hate removing waterproof mascara
- You want cleaner lash separation
