Honestly, one of the best things I’ve ever done is to follow a bunch of animal accounts on Instagram. I love seeing these guys pop up on my newsfeed and it never fails to put a smile on my face. I have quite the variety of animals that I keep up with and these are just a handful of my favorites that come immediately to mind. In no particular order…

randrranchminis – I absolutely love watching these mini horses run around and kick up their feet. Martha is featured quite a bit running around the barn and outside.

russian_sable – First of all, a sable is a cuter version of a ferret and I cannot get enough of this account. It’s all in Russian, so I don’t understand any of the captions but the pictures are more than enough.

titotheraccoon – I want a raccoon so bad. Their cute faces, their little people-like hands, and their roundness. I can’t take it. All the cute.

joshthedoodle – Big Josh fan over here! I am all about handicapable pets and Josh is one of them! Josh has cerebellar hypoplasia and has problems keeping balance, but that has not dampened his spirit. He uses a cart and is slowly getting better. Highly recommend his account.

upsdogs – What a brilliant idea! All the dogs that various UPS drivers meet on their deliveries.

waltergeoffreythefrenchie – Oh, Walter. He has epic and adorable meltdowns frequently and his mom (“Bish”) documents them.

pigeonpup – An adorable wheelie pit rescue who never fails to bring a big smile to my face.

vodkafordogpeople – Tito’s Vodka is one of the most animal-loving companies I’ve ever seen. They incorporate dogs into their everyday workplace culture and do quite a bit of volunteer and awareness work, as well.

prinss_lilo_weenie – Lilo is a wheelchair-bound doxie. She never fails to have the best outfits. I love her account and have been following her journey for a very long time now. She and my dog love to exchange comments on each other’s pages.

this_girl_is_a_squirrel – Jill the squirrel is just too cute. She’s a hurricane rescue and an absolute delight.

eddieswheels – If your dog ever needs a cart, Eddie’s is the only place I’d recommend. They guarantee the cart for the lifetime of your pet and have custom-make each and every one to your pet’s measurements.

juniperfoxx – Foxes are just so beautiful and I love seeing Juniper and Fig pop up on my newsfeed.

fefe_the_cutest_gofin – Fefe is an adorable bird who had some anxiety issues in a previous home and ripped out quite a bit of her feathers. They won’t grow back but she’s loving life and obsessed with her dad. Such a cute little gal!
