I thought it was time to list out some of my favorite hair products that I find myself buying again and again. I’ve linked to the product on the site that had it for the cheapest price. And no, I don’t get anything for using or listing these products, I just genuinely like them. You’ll notice that there isn’t a shampoo or conditioner on this list, just products for styling. I haven’t found a shampoo or conditioner that has blown me away. It seems like my hair gets “used to” the shampoo and/or conditioner and stops responding as well after a while, so I have to switch it up. These, however, have remained tried and true.
Bed Head Superstar Volumizing Leave-In Conditioner – This leave in conditioner smells amazing, detangles my damp hair, adds volume, and has UV color protection.
Bed Head Headrush Spray – This is the perfect shine spray. It smells fantastic (all Bed Head products do, let’s be real) and doesn’t way down your hair. I also like that I don’t have to get my hands covered in product like you do with liquid shine formulas.
Bed Head Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray – This is my absolute favorite hair spray, ESPECIALLY for your bang area. It has a lot of hold but doesn’t look all crispy and hard like other hairsprays. It leaves a nice, healthy shine and smells good, too.
Big Sexy Hair What A Tease Styler By Sexy Hair – This is heavy duty teasing spray. If you’re wanting enormous hair, this is all you need. You spray this at the root, then backcomb.
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish Hair Spray – Okay, this stuff is amazing and my absolute go-to. I’ve been using it for over a year now and I don’t know how I got by before it. I love using it when I curl my hair, because it give this perfect “messy” look to your curls and has amazing hold. It’s touchable and you can keep styling your hair after you’ve sprayed it on. It’s simply magic in a bottle.
CHI Enviro 54 Natural Hold Hair Spray – This is great, touchable hair spray. It’s not as heavy duty as the Bed Head, but definitely more hold than the Bumble and Bumble. It’s just right.
Design.Me Puff Me Volumizing Cloud Mist – This stuff if fantastic! It’s volumizing powder that you can spray directly in your hair. It’s perfect for a little volume at your roots. You simply spray in hair then rub it into your roots. They have a product called “Dry Me” that I’d like to try sometime. It’s supposed to make your hair dry quicker?
Dove Refresh + Care Volume & Fullness Dry Shampoo – I like this dry shampoo a lot. It isn’t too expensive and get’s the job done. I like that it adds volume, as well, cause my hair gets so flat as the oil builds up.
Renpure Sea Salt Spray – Okay, I got this from Ulta, but now it’s no longer available. It looks like they replaced this product with one called Renpure Professional Coconut Water Sea Salt Spray. I haven’t tried the coconut one, though. The one I have is still available from Urban Outfitters. Anyways, I like this sea salt spray. It actually works in my hair. All the other sea salt sprays I tried before didn’t really do anything to my hair. I simply spray this one damp hair and scrunch my hair as I blow dry with a diffuser. Air drying works, too, but the waves are better if I use a blow dryer.
Rock Your Hair Bombshell Big Hair Powder – This is great volumizing powder. You simply sprinkle it at the root where you want to tease, rub it in a little, then backcomb the hair. Sometimes I use this with the Big Sexy Hair teasing spray when I’m going for big, big hair.
