I’ve always dreamed of the perfect closet and one day I will get it, but for now I will make the most out of my apartment! This is the main, walk-in closet off of my master bedroom. My dad and a friend helped make the shelves that you see so I could take better advantage of all that empty space above the provided shelves. Highly recommend having a handy guy, whether that’s you’re dad, boyfriend, or friend who can help you out with projects like this! I wouldn’t mind getting more well versed with the power tools myself so I don’t have to ask anyone else, but that will have to wait until a later time.

Thank goodness I’m still single because clearly you can see there is no room in this closet for a man. Hopefully my future husband is okay with using the guest bedroom lol. I’ve got my sweaters, graphic tees, and some seasonal items up top on the shelving and out of the way. The main closet is all of my shirts, blazers, and bodysuits… essentially anything I’d wear on the top half of my body!
Underneath, I have some storage for socks and leggings. The dresser contains underwear and shape-wear. On the back of the door, I have mostly work-style shoes – lots of ballet flats and mules.
Then I have some of my nicer, work or special occasion shoes underneath. Then I have more fun or going out tops that didn’t need to be hung up in the cub organizer, as well as some other random things that didn’t belong to any other category. I’ve also got a handy step stool to reach those higher placed items.
