Now more than ever, I cannot wait to travel and see more of the world. Coronavirus has us all staying in place and not exploring like we once used to. With the exception of one place listed below, I’ve never been to any of the following places. I love traveling and haven’t gotten to do it nearly as much as I’d like to, but I’m hoping to slowly but surely start putting a dent in this list once it’s safe to travel again. This is just a quick list, nothing too extensive, so if you have any recommendations for things to do or places to see, I’d love to hear them! In no particular order…
Australia
The Great Barrier Reef is definitely at the top of my list. I’d also love to go to the Australian Zoo that Steve Irwin made famous. There’s so much outdoor stuff to do in Australia, so that’d probably be my top priority.
Germany
My last name is actually German, so I’d love to visit Germany and get a feel for it. Seeing some WWII relics would be high on my list, as well.
Japan
Not gunna lie, I want to try authentic sushi and Japanese cuisine so bad! Mount Fuji would be beautiful to see, too.
Paris
Yes, I have been to Paris once before, but it was just a brief weekend trip when I was studying abroad in school. I’d love to go back and have more time to really explore the city. And better weather than when I was there before would be much appreciated, too!
South Korea
I’d love to pop my karaoke cherry in South Korea! Attending a k-pop concert would also be high on my list. There’s also k-beauty trends I’d love to try out and just overall experiencing the South Korean culture.
Italy
This is very Eat, Pray, Love inspired, but I don’t even care. I want to experience Italy so bad! The food, the atmosphere, the fashion, all of it!
Spain
Spain is such an old culture, I’d love to see some buildings and things from long, long ago. Barcelona would probably be the top place to go, but I’m definitely open to any and everything.
Greece
I’d love to tour the Acropolis, admire the architecture in Santorini, visit the Delphi, among other things. Greece just looks beautiful, plain and simple.
Iceland
I’ve had a few friends visit Iceland (one eloped there!) and have heard nothing but rave reviews. I don’t normally want to vacation in cold places, but this would definitely be one exception. The black sand beaches, waterfalls, Northern Lights… everything literally looks magical.
Egypt
I’ve been intrigued in Egypt as long as I can remember. The pyramids would be an obvious must-see, but I’d love to learn more about both ancient Egypt and modern Egypt, as well.
Obviously, this list isn’t all-inclusive, but does cover the major places I cannot wait to visit! Oh and while we’re on the topic of traveling, check out my travel essentials, too! Have you been to any of these places? I’d love to know some of your must-do’s or must-see’s in the comments!
