I was sent this product by Influenster in the Blossom Vox Box. I got the color Tribeca Taupe, which is a pretty medium shade of brown. The NYC website says “Want round the clock color that never fades or creases? This chubby, waterproof eye shadow delivers vibrant color for up to 24HR wear! In eleven on trend shades perfect for any look, just twist, glide and go!” This product is only $3, too, which I think is a fair price for an eye shadow stick.

It was the perfect color for my skin color to give me that “not wearing any make up” look. It felt nice going on, too, and was very easy to blend. I liked applying the product a lot.

I was a little skeptical of this product at first, because my eyelids are known to eat eye shadow. It sucks, I have to use a primer or it’s gone. I was expecting this product to start wearing off, but I hoped to be proved wrong. I decided to try it without a primer to see if it truly was long wearing.
Unfortunately, my expectations were met. After about four hours of wearing the shadow, it had started to disappear on my eyelids.

Honestly, I wasn’t surprised but I was crossing my fingers I had found an answer. I tried it out with primer and it still didn’t last as long as my powder eye shadows. I think this is just the way my eyes are shaped and how much of a lid crease I have.

Overall, I’d give it a 4/10. I think it’d work for some people or as under eye shadow just fine.
